I found that out when a scammer tried to reverse a paypal payment after getting 5K of my guitars. It is basically insurance against damage in shipping through Reverb, also against some protection from scammers. Also easiest to have a file with 25 pic's and move the file over. It is easiest to write a description and save it, then move it over when making a listing. I like the fact that there is no limit on words for a description, and you can post 25 pictures. I just print off a UPS shipping label, tape it to the box and drop the package off at the nearest UPS store. Leave something listed forever if you like. So setting a low ball offer limit saves you from having to respond to frequent low ball offers. One of the ways you are rated as a seller is by your response time to messages and offers. This saves you from having to respond to every single low ball offer. If someone wants a return policy they can shop at GC. It really discourages the scammers, tire kickers, and taste testers. I sell all my stuff AS IS with NO returns.
